Clicker
A clicker is one of the smallest yet most important pieces of equipment on a recurve bow. It is a thin metal plate attached to the side of the riser, and it produces a “click” sound when the arrow reaches full draw, signaling the exact moment to release. Although it may look like a simple sound-making device, it is actually a shoot timing control system that ensures a consistent full-draw length, consistent shooting timing, and stable arrow flight—core elements of high-level archery technique.
Despite its small size, the clicker dramatically enhances shooting performance, and it is an essential system that every archer—from beginners to national-team athletes—must learn to use.
