Grip
The grip is the central part of the riser where the archer’s bow hand makes contact.
It is the only point that connects the recurve bow to the archer, making it the most important component in determining overall bow stability, power transfer, and balance throughout the shooting process.
Because the archer’s force, angle, pressure, and hand structure are transmitted directly to the bow through this single contact point, the shape of the grip and how it is used have a direct impact on arrow accuracy and shooting stability.
Therefore, proper and natural grip setup is considered a fundamental and essential technique for any skilled archer.

[GRIP] SELECT THE TYPE TO FIT THE GRIP HEIGHT
Grip height refers to the height of the contact point where the archer’s palm rests on the grip mounted on the riser.
It is generally classified into three types:
▶ High Grip
▶ Medium Grip
▶ Low Grip
Grip height directly affects the angle of the bow hand and the way force is transmitted to the bow.
